Collection: Brown`s Beach
Founded in 1901 in Worcester, Massachusetts by William W. Brown,
Brown’s Beach Jacket Company created garments renowned for their warmth and durability.
The original Brown’s Beach Jackets and Vests
were beloved by fishermen, hunters, and lumberjacks —
those who worked under harsh outdoor conditions.
By the 1920s and ’30s, the brand’s reputation spread nationwide,
and its distinctive “salt-and-pepper” fabric became an icon of American workwear.
Though production ceased in the 1960s, interest in vintage American garments
brought new appreciation for their functional beauty.
In 2007, FULLCOUNT Co.,Ltd. began researching the original material in depth,
and in 2010 officially revived the brand under license.
Crafted from a double-layer structure of cotton Russell knit and wool fleece,
the fabric offers exceptional warmth and strength.
The twisted dual-yarn surface produces the signature Oxford Grey tone —
a timeless expression of texture and depth.
A century-old design philosophy, faithfully recreated for the modern era.
