This special collaboration represents the desire of both designers to breathe new life 
into the fashion industry and to rekindle the passion and fun of fashion.

This is a dream collaboration project between two major brands that dominated the Japanese fashion scene in the 1990s.

In the current revival movement, both brands are being reappraised as “vintage items,” 
and this project is a “new thing” created by the two designers that will be enjoyed by users.

The second collaboration project uses 5.6oz high quality cotton round body for all seasons.
The base size is smaller than last time, so XXL is selected as a free fit.

Logos and messages symbolizing beasuty;beast and 20471120

have been incorporated to create a symbolic piece that represents the collaboration.

唐突なコラボレーションに驚かされた昔からのファンの方は勿論ですが、

beauty;beastというブランドを新たに知るきっかけとしても

コラボレーションはとても意義のあるモノとなりました。

今回はその企画の第二弾、"2nd Impact"と銘打ったコレクションです。

90年代の空気感をリアルに感じさせる配色感は20471120らしくもありますが、

beauty beastが現行で拘っている生地の魅力、着心地の良さなど

前回からの短いスパンの中での"アップデート"で

楽しませてくれる内容となっております。

前回同様、フロント無地、両袖、バックのグラフィックプリント。

ただし、生地感を大幅に変更しており、

統一性の高いアートワークながらも別作品と言える仕上がりです。

今回、選別されたのは5.6ozハイクォリティコットンです。

前回は9.1ozのマグナムウエイトでしたので

同じコットンジャージでも質感、雰囲気に違いが生じます。

マグナムウエイトの生地はアメカジやストリートウェアの

無骨さ、ラフなムードが強い素材であるのに対し、

5.6ozコットンは落ち感が良く、ドレーピングが美しいです。

フェミニンとまではいきませんが、洋服が描く線にも柔和な印象があり、

肩肘張らないリラックスした雰囲気で今の時期から重宝するウエイトです。

前回よりもベースとなるサイズ感が小さめになっており、

ゆったりとしたルーズシルエットで着用する為にXXLをセレクトしております。
